Action to help contain cost of Living Pressures

The rising cost of living continues to put huge pressure on people’s daily lives, right across the UK. Rising to a 41-year high in 2022, inflation has been at around 10% since last summer. This means the goods and services we all buy cost us more.

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has issued an update on action to help cost of living pressures. The main focus of this update is to highlight a new piece of work the CMA are commencing in the Groceries Sector, as well as provide an update on their Road Fuel Market Study.

For more information, including a report on the action the CMA have, and are taking, to help contain cost of living pressures, please see the following collections page.
