Retail membership

SGF currently represents all the major symbol groups trading in Scotland, as well as a vast number of independent stores throughout the country.

The main benefit of retail membership is that you become part of our ‘Convenience Community’  - a great collection of retailers who can offer support and help to one another.   You will also be part of the overall voice for Scotland – a voice that has had great success in negotiating with the Scottish Parliament and has a fantastic relationship with the Scottish Government, so much so that we have secured funding for our retailers through different revenue sources within the Government.

We have a number of advice sources available to our retail members; all you need to access these is your current SGF membership number.

We have access to online training for areas such as licensing – something your business cannot be without!

You will receive free attendance at all SGF events (please note however that some events such as study tour and golf may be restricted).

You will receive regular communications from the SGF office, constantly updating you on crucial matters within the industry.
