Views on food law in Scotland – Research
SGF met with the British Retail Consortium recently who alerted us to current research being conducted and asked that we share it with you.
Research from Progressive Partnership is being conducted into food businesses’ experiences of and views on food law in Scotland. The study aims to engage with a diverse range of food businesses across the country.
Key decision-makers within food businesses operating in Scotland are invited to take part.
Discussions will take place between 3rd March and 21st March at a mutually agreed time and will last between 30-40 minutes. As a token of appreciation, participants will receive £100, or alternatively, this amount can be donated to a charity of their choice. Discussions will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom and will be recorded for research purposes. A telephone option is available if an online meeting is not possible.
At this stage, a few questions will be asked to gather relevant information, including details about the type of food business, the length of time in operation, and its location. This information is necessary to ensure a broad spectrum of businesses is represented. No personal or identifiable information will be shared with third parties, and the data collected will only be used to facilitate participation in this project.
Those interested in taking part are invited to complete a short survey, after which a member of the Progressive team will be in touch to confirm participation and discuss a preferred date and time for the discussion. All details will be confirmed, and any questions will be answered. Please note that while not all applicants may be selected for the research, all will receive a response.
