Martin Symes – Motor Fuel Group

Martin is the EV Director at Motor Fuel Group (MFG). MFG are the largest independent forecourt operator in the UK and a Charge Point Operator (CPO) focusing in Rapid and Ultra Rapid space most suited to enroute and destination charging.

Martins’ role at MFG is to lead the EV Power business, manage the live network including hardware and software suppliers as well as the EV strategy for MFG.

He has worked in the EV industry for 4 years, in that time managing some of the largest networks in the UK including the transition of the Charge Place Scotland network away from BP to Swarco Smart Charging. Prior to working in EV charging Martin held a number of senior operational roles in a variety of sectors more recently including hardware and software development.
