In leading the regulatory affairs team at the UK’s largest producer responsibility compliance provider, George is very knowledgeable producer responsibility laws in the UK. His work to keep over 2000 of Valpak’s packaging scheme members up to date with the latest news regarding resources & waste sector reforms sees him regularly engage with industry and government officials on how to achieve a smooth transition to EPR. In 2023, he was shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year at the UK Green Business Awards and was named as one of LetsRecycle’s 35 under 35 in the waste industry for engaging with policymakers and educating industry on the impacts of EPR.
