National Minimum Wage increase reminder

Employers are reminded that the National Minimum Wage will be increased as of 1st October. The new rates are as follows:

  • The adult rate will increase by 15p to £6.08 per hour.

  • The rate for 18-20 year olds will increase by 6p to £4.98 per hour.

  • The rate for 16-17 year olds will increse by 4p to £3.68 per hour.

  • The rate for apprentices will increase by 10p to £2.60 per hour.
