UK and Scottish Budgets set to be delivered before end of year

On 30th October, UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves will deliver her first budget of the current Government. While we cannot confirm any details of the budget, it is expected that the Chancellor will emphasise economic stability as a cornerstone of her policy strategy.

The Scottish Government will deliver its budget on 4th December 2024. After the UK Budget is announced, Scottish ministers have a clearer sense of their spending envelope for next year, which is likely to impact the announcements in the budget.
