SGF Cross Party Group (CPG) on Independent Convenience Stores - 18th Feb - “Impact of the UK and Scottish Economies on the Convenience Sector”

The next meeting of the SGF CPG will take place in Committee Room 3 of the Scottish Parliament at 6 PM on Tuesday, 18th February.

The topic will be the “Impact of the UK and Scottish Economies on the Convenience Sector”. The discussion will focus on the current economic climate and its effects on our industry, taking into account aspects of the recent UK and Scottish Budgets, inflation, and other critical issues impacting our sector.

We are pleased to confirm three industry expert speakers:

• Will Dowson, Agent for Scotland, Bank of England

• Brian Eagle-Brown, Managing Director, ShopMate

• Moira Dean, Independent retailer, Dundee University Students'​ Association

Following the presentations, there will be a Q&A session where you can engage with our speakers and MSPs present.

Your attendance would be greatly appreciated for what promises to be an insightful discussion. We will meet in the Parliament foyer before proceeding to the event room.
