Packaging Regulations for Small Producers: Create Report Packaging Data Account

If your organisation had an annual turnover of between £1 million and £2 million in the last financial year, and supplies more than 25 tonnes of packaging, you could be obligated under the new packaging regulations as a ‘small producer’.  

If you are a small producer, you should have recorded data about the packaging you supply or import into the UK from Sunday 1 January 2023. You will need to submit your 2024 data by Tuesday 1 April 2025. More information about the reporting periods can be found on Gov.uk. 

To submit your data, you will first need to create a report packaging data account on the digital service. You can do this now by visiting Gov.uk. We will contact you again when the digital service is ready to accept your data submissions.
