Disposal deadline announced on non-domestic property rating appeals lodged between 1 January 2020 and 31 March 2022

Under the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Order 1995, as amended by the Valuation Timetable (Scotland) Amendment Order 2022, non-domestic property rating appeals lodged between 1 January 2020 and 31 March 2022 have a disposal deadline of 31 December 2023. 

The matter of this deadline was raised in the Local Taxation Project Board Stakeholder Group. The Scottish Government would like to invite views on the matter in a brief survey which can be accessed here.

Responses to the survey are requested by 5pm on Tuesday 23 May 2023.
