Ashwagandha – FSA Call For Evidence – closes 2nd Sept

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) have published a call for evidence on Ashwagandha on the FSA website - Ashwagandha | Food Standards Agency. The purpose of this call for evidence is to gather information on ashwagandha in food supplements to build a evidence package to support a request for a risk assessment by the Committee of Toxicity. This will help build an evidence package that will inform any future risk management advice in Great Britain.

The call for evidence is open until close of play 2nd September and responses can be sent to ashwagandha-callforevidence@food.gov.uk . Please feel free to share this with others who you feel may have an interest or valuable information that could support the call for evidence.
